Alyssum, or sweet Alyssum has a tiny compact clusters of flowers in sweet creams and pink and smell stunningly like honey. The taste is a little stronger - slightly spicy, more like a watercress or mustard leaf.
They are perfect in salads, cute in cocktails and pretty frozen in icecubes. They can also be cut off the floret and scattered like confetti over new potatoes or pasta salad. Lovely.
Allysum is full of vitamin C and alledgedly good for your kidneys.
